Columbus is filled with history, amazing food, and the best urban whitewater on the planet!
In order for you to get to experience a little of the charm Columbus has to offer, we have arranged a few excursions for you. You can get a feel for the history with a city tour, enjoy the flavors of the fountain city with a restaurant tour, or experience some adrenaline with a whitewater trip or zipline over the Chattahoochee River.
These excursions are planned for Friday, September 6, morning and afternoon. Registration and payment will be made through the link or form provided below. We have arranged a discount for all Design Revival attendees.
Whitewater Rafting
Come raft with us on the Chattahoochee River (Columbus, GA/Phenix City, AL), the longest urban whitewater rafting in the world! The course consists of class II-V whitewater and is one of the most exciting sections of whitewater in the US! During the day, the river will run with Class I-III+(IV) rapids which is a perfect combination of fun and adventure for the whole family! Come join in the excitement and experience some of the biggest rapids east of the Mississippi!

Ziplining
Take flight on the Blue Heron Adventure in Columbus, Georgia! Crossing the Chattahoochee River TWICE, experience the only dual-zip lines that connect two states reaching speeds up to 40mph. The fun doesn’t end there! The Blue Heron Aerial Course, a treetop experience will meet you in Phenix City, Alabama with a total of 10 obstacles. The excitement continues as you explore our TREETOP ZIPS COURSE and then zip back to our outpost where you began your adventure!

Bites of Uptown Food Tour
Columbus has some amazing eats. We love our BBQ and our French pastries. If you’re a foodie, you will love taking a walking tour in uptown Columbus to some of our home town favorites.
The tour will include stops at 6 restaurants/shops and they will get food and/or drink at each location. The stops will be:
- My Boulange French Bakery
- Rocket Fizz
- Mr. Ed’s on Broadway
- Ride on Smoothie and Juice Bar
- Picasso’s Pizzeria
- Fountain City Coffee

Columbus Shuttle Tour
See the homes of John Pemberton, the inventor of the world’s most famous soft drink. Plus, see the spot where a competitor soon launched his own soda. We’ll feature historical landmarks such as The Springer Opera House, Heritage Park, and Chattahoochee Promenade. The tour will touch some local Black history, the industrial history, and even some sports tidbits for any fan. Hear the stories that helped transform Columbus from the western frontier settlement of Georgia to the “Jewel of The Chattahoochee.”
