Have you ever stopped to think about the first verb used in the Bible? It is specific to an act of God.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

God is a creative!
God created the universe, in all it’s beauty, to communicate his glory (Psalms 19, Romans 1).

Not only did God create the universe and all that is in it. He created us to bear his image. We are part of the creation that has the ability to create.
John Piper, in Don’t Waste Your Life, helps us understand this truth:
If you are God, your work is to create out of nothing. If you are not God, but like God — that is, if you are human — your work is to take what God has made and shape it and use it to make him look great.

We are all creatives. Some are creative with words, others with numbers, and others with pixels. But we are all creative. We worship King Jesus when we reflect the image of God in the way we live.
When we are creative, we are worshiping!
